Marrium Salim

Associate

Marrium Salim is a litigation lawyer at Thompson, Tooze, McLean, and Elkin. Marrium joined the firm in 2021 after completing her articles at a boutique full-service firm in Burlington, ON where she grew an interest in defence litigation.

Marrium is currently a member of Law Society of Ontario, Toronto Lawyers Association and Ontario Bar Association.
When not in the office, Marrium enjoys traveling, practicing yoga and pilates, spending time with family, and reading Bukowski novels.

EDUCATION

After completing her undergraduate studies in Criminology and Law and Society at York University, Marrium earned her law degree from the University of Kent with distinction.

During her time at Kent Law School, Marrium participated in Mock trials, and in national Negotiation and Mediation competitions.

At law school, Marrium was a member of the Canadian Law Society and volunteered her time at the Kent Legal Aid Clinic where she would assist solicitors in pro bono work for the surrounding communities.

EXPERIENCE 

Marrium has assisted on matters before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Ontario Small Claims Court, and various administrative tribunals.
